She has co-hosted over 65 telethons for Prevention of Child Abuse, United Negro College Fund, American Cancer, March of Dimes, Crippled Children, and Cerebral Palsy, appearing through the years with Rock-a-Billy King Carl Perkins, her Buddy Cousin Minnie Pearl, The Judds, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Jayne Mansfield, Wink Martindale, to name just a few.

She has co-authored two books, writes a newspaper column and is also a musician, a singer, a comedienne and dedicated Child Advocate with a mission to stop child abuse, give every child a chance to reach their potential and help bring families back together.  Last, but certainly not least, she is an ENERGIZED MEDICARE MAMA, appealing to all ages.
