Banquet supports 'Imagination Station' books from birth program

Author and entertainer "Cousin Tuny" of Jackson, Tenn., signed books and spoke to a crowd of nearly 200 people who attended the Imagination Station banquet, held April 13 at the Pickwick Inn.

Proceeds from the banquet were in excess of $4,600, which will help purchase books for Hardin County children in the Governor's Books from Birth Program, which is a partnership with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Project.

Organizers plan to have an Imagination Station banquet each year to keep the program funded. For more information call the Hardin County Library at 925-4314.
